Nihonmura (นิฮมมูระ), 87 Soi Thong Lo 13 (BTS Thong Lo). Nihonmura, commonly known as Japan Village, is a dining complex with about a dozen quality Japanese restaurants. Uomasa (☎ +66 2 392-6575) is the best joint for sashimi (raw fish). You can order the "Iso" menu, a plate full of sashimi priced at 1,600 baht. It seems expensive, but its similarly priced to the generic Japanese chain restaurants, but the sashimi here is much fresher and of better quality. 350 baht.
