Marine Drive or Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Road is the road along the promenade from Nariman Point to Girgaum Chowpatty. It is also known as the Queen's Necklace when it is lit up in the night with the street lights though it used to be more apt for a pearl necklace when the mercury lamps were used in the lights unlike the halogen lamps used nowadays making it a pale yellow necklace!!! It has the whole stretch of buildings built in the art deco style making it one of the two biggest stretches with art deco buildings in Mumbai.
