The Nehru Planetarium, Mumbai, a part of the Nehru Centre, Mumbai, was inaugurated on 3 March 1977 by the then Prime Minister of India, Smt. Indira Gandhi.  The planetarium has become a centre for scientific studies of astronomy and space science. You can meet different scientists and scholars for discussions and lectures at this centre. The centre conducts regular pragrammes which include public shows like Stars & Wonders of the Universe. These public shows are conducted in Hindi, English and Marathi. Nehru Planetarium, Mumbai show timings are 12 noon (Hindi), 1.30pm (Marathi), 3pm (English) and 4.30pm (Hindi).
