The National gallery of Art of Nigeria was established for the promotion and presentation of creative visual art in Nigeria. Its corporate headquarters is located in Abuja, the Federal capital Territory (FCT). The Gallery has a vision to become a World Class Gallery and a Global Tourists Destinationand to Serve as a Repository for Nigeria's creative spirits and to promote the appreciation of Nigeria's Art.
