The Art Studies Programme is designed for those who wish to acquire an in depth knowledge of the history of art and the national collection, but are unable to commit themselves to full time study. The course is taught by Gallery staff and guest lecturers and is provided by means of illustrated slide talks and conducted tours with access to the Gallery's fine collections.Talks take place in the Lecture Theatre unless otherwise indicated. Tour of the Week focuses on a specific theme or display. Guided tours meet in the Shaw Room.
