About
This contemporary Pan-Asian restaurant, located in the W Hotel, serves up Korean- and Japanese-influenced dishes with a distinctive flair (you'll see why this restaurant is called Namu, which means "wood" in Korean, once you see the decor). It's one of the city's trendiest dining venues, and dismissing it as "fusion" would be a mistake, since each of the dishes maintains its authentic flavors. There is a pretty fabulous sushi and sashimi bar, but if raw fish isn't your thing, try the marinated cod or ginger-soy grilled loin. Keep in mind that the set menus change with the seasons and with the whims of the chef. Come early or linger after dinner for a cold sake from Namu's own cellars in the wraparound bar, called Liquid.
