Nalusuan Island

Nalusuan Island Resort is located on the small island of Nalusuan (you can walk around the whole island in a few minutes) and is only 30-45 minutes boat ride from Mactan Island. The cottages on Nalusuan Island Resort (located on one side of the island) are built on stilts overlooking the water, each with their own balcony where one can sit and listen to the waves or watch out over the ocean or watch the fish swim under the rooms. Rooms including the bathroom are basically furnished but are adequate enough.

The island has is popular for day trippers (from Mactan Island) who can enjoy the Island for some great snorkelling and other aqua activities. The resort organises lunch for these groups at its only restaurant located on the island. Nalusuan Island has its iconic long pier that boats dock at and is where the islands marine sanctuary is located.  Nalusuan has some of the best snorkeling in the area, with the chance to see hundreds of fish swimming around the pier and is why it's so popular for island day trips and not to be missed. The weekends the island becomes quite busy with tourists, but by late afternoon when these tour groups leave, Nalusuan Island Resort becomes a very quiet place to enjoy.
