The Nakoda Temple or Parshvanath Temple is one of the main centres for Jain pilgrimage in India. This temple is located on a hill at a height of 1500 ft on the road from Jodhpur to Barmer. The temple has the figure of Parshvanath, the Jain saint, made of black stone. It is believed that the temple was built by two brothers, Nakorsen and Veersen some 2300 years ago.
