Aykut, the laid-back owner of the now closed Aypa, opened a shop down the street in conjunction with the adjacent Nakkas. He still carries a great selection of books on Turkish art, ceramics, history, religion, and the Ottoman Empire, some of which are rare or limited editions. The shop also carries a dizzying array of souvenirs like magnets, artistic cards, jewelry, copper, and textiles.
