Village Museum in Baia Mare are four ethnographic areas in northern Romania, known over time as countries: Country Chioarului, Country Lapus, Maramures Country Land and Forests. Each of these has a specific well highlighted by special units of architecture it presents. In the museum has tried and presentation types of households according to main occupation of the inhabitants of the area from which the household. Thus we have the farmer households in the country Lapus, household sub grower of Baia Mare, Maramures household fruiter of Country, etc.. It omitted any technical installations such as oloiniţele, pivele, vâltorile and mills operated by water.
