About

This is an interesting though somewhat unknown museum located in the Capuchinos de Sarrià Monastery, and it provides the opportunity to discover the Andes and the Amazon through its collection of Pre-Columbian art. This collection includes different exhibits of pieces from that period and includes items such as pottery, indigenous handicrafts and objects of worship brought over to Europe by Capuchin missionaries from Peru and Bolivia. Visits are only by appointment. There is no admission charge, though donations are gladly accepted. The museum is closed in August and September.
