The Sacred Art Museum of São Paulo is the result of an agreement signed between the State Government and the Archdiocese of St. Paul Mitra on October 28, 1969 and its installation date of June 28, 1970. From this date, the Sacred Art Museum of São Paulo came to occupy the left wing ground floor of the Monastery of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception of Light and the former House Chaplain, before administration, and where, since 1999, is exhibited the collection of nativity scenes from the museum.
