History Museum
Museo Lara was founded by Juan Antonio Lara Jurado, and is a private museum. It is located near the gorge. The name of the building is the Casa Palacio de los Condes de las Conquistas, built in the 18th century. The museum has several collections, and these include clocks, arms, movies and photography, scientific instruments, romanticism, and the Inquisition. There is also a chapel for Fray Leopoldo de Alpandeire, who is widely venerated.
