Musée Malraux

2 Boulevard Clemenceau

About

The Malraux Museum, in all its awe, houses the largest collection of impressionism art anywhere outside of Paris's Orsay Museum. First opened in 1961 and recently renovated to preserve the works of art, the museum has collections of classical and baroque art that include Dufy, Courbet, Marquet, Boudin, Monet (an impressionist piece painted in 1873 represents the harbor itself of Le Havre), Renoir, Corot, Bonnard, Vuillard, among many others. A rich history of European Art is exhibited here, and is a great place to learn about the various pieces. Admission charges are 5 Euros for adults and no charge for children under the age of 18 years.
