Murphy Store is a 200 year old listed building situated on the quay in Kinvara, County Galway, overlooking Galway Bay. Originally used as a grain store and associated with trade by sea, this magnificent building was restored from dereliction in 2001.Open to the public as a gallery, craftshop and coffee shop it proudly promotes Irish made products. In keeping with its location Murphy Store stocks a range of products for health and beauty made from seaweed harvested off the West Coast of Ireland.The store specialises in the work of local artists from paintings to woodcarvings, jewellery and pottery. There are affordable gifts for everyone. The adjacent coffee shop is the ideal spot to take in the surroundings over a coffee and cake.
