Mullingar Country Fayre & International Horse Festival 2014 combines all things equestrian with interactive side shows and a retail and food village in a unique purpose built venue, near Mullingar Town. This popular festival, running for over twenty years, has something to attract all ages. There are four show jumping arenas in action each day catering for everyone from tiny tots to international show jumpers. Highlights of the weekend include the €23,500 Grand Prix on the final day, Sunday's Puissance, Working Hunter and Hunt Chase, a lively shopping and food village, kids' zone, carnival, outdoor pursuits, pony rides, a pet corner, dog show and a world record dog high jump competition. This is all complemented with on-site catering, a picnic area and live music zone. Facilities include all weather areas, raised banks, plenty of seating, picnic areas, on-site catering, a live music zone, ample parking and easy access.
