About
Mughal Gardens, also known as Yadavindra Gardens, have been named after the late Maharaja Yadavindra Singh of Patiala, Punjab. Located in Pinjore town in the state of Haryana, these gardens were designed in the 17th century by Nawab Fidai Khan. He was a renowned architect, who also designed the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan. The beautiful garden has symmetrical rows of flowers and fountains that are illuminated after sunset. A small zoo and a mini restaurant are also present in the garden. These gardens have been designed with seven terraces, which descend from its entrance in a symmetrical fashion.
