About

Mubarak village is home to approx. 2,500 fishermen and their families. Water is a rare commodity which is dispatched to the village in tankers. There is a school for children and small time market for the catch from the fishing boats. Not many people come here for leisure as the road leading to the village is notoriously known for kidnapping and burglary. There is not any security check post and question remains if its a fact or just a bad reputation. Either way it keep enthusiasts away from the village. There is no way you can book a fishing expedition while sitting in your office. You have to go there and book in advance or go early and book from available options then and there. You may not be able to book kemari-like boats with shade from there, which by the way is highly recommended as sun and rough sea can make you feel dizzy. Vomiting is a real possibility. Don't put your hands in the deep water. The place is know for many species of snakes. The Karachi walla saw two snakes swimming in blue clean water. shinning in pallid yellow sunlight. twisting and turning. It is beautiful.
