About

Moydalgan Barn is an authenic stone building which is at least 200 years old. It was sensitvely restored to provide comfortable and compact accommodation in a relaxing rural location. Nestled in the foothills of the Dromara Mountains and close to the source of the River Lagan the Barn has an appealing ambience surrounded by a newly planted wood of native trees. Moydalgan Barn is a non-smoking, self catering facility that has been renovated to a very high standard with all modern conveniences. The tariff includes linens, towels and utilities and for the convenience of our guests there is a private hedged garden to the rear and spacious car parking at the front yard entrance. The Barn is centrally located in this peaceful area of County Down close to the Harry Ferguson memorial site but easily accessible to major road networks. The A1 is approximately five miles from the Barn with easy access to Hillsborough and the busy cities of Lisburn, Belfast and Dublin. Moydalgan is an ideal place for exploring the many attractive towns and villages throughout Northern Ireland and beyond. There are countless opportunities to visit fascinating historical sites and engage in a range of outdoor sports. Alternatively, one can just rest, relax and take time to enjoy the beautiful Mourne countryside on our doorstep.
