In the early 90′s they opened up their own space in a small strip mall in Chatsworth called Prasad, mainly for caterings and our customers kept coming in for food on the go. In the mid 90′s the growth of demand for freshly prepared meals took them to a full restaurant in Canoga Park. This is where the name Mother India Restaurant first took hold.
