Monsoon from the Le Meridien stable is a surprise of the pleasant kind. That the less-than-fashionable hotel has metamorphosed into a well-appointed space with F&B of an international class is a lesson for all of us: never underestimate your opponent. With interiors by Bobby Mukerjee, also known as Mahima Chaudhary's husband, there are two private dining rooms and a wine library, all inside this progressive Indian restaurant, whose menu was done by the internationally known Opel Khan. Millefeuille of Sole with Mint Chutney and Tamarind Glaze is interesting.
