MIX is the collaboration between Manhattan restaurateur Spencer Rothschild (RAIN, CALLE OCHO, ROOFTOP 760, DJANGO, YUSHI, COPACABANA) and Chef Martell Fonville (GRAMERCY TAVERN, A VOCE, INOTECA, AL DI LA). MIX will serve a tasting-style menu, featuring multi-flavored, multi-ethnic contemporary dishes. The restaurant's décor transports you to a cozy, chic boite, including antiqued mirrors and hand blown glass lighting. The MIX menu includes almond stuffed dates wrapped in bacon with blue cheese dipping sauce ($7), squash soup with fried sage, shaved parmesan & nutmeg ($7), crispy calamari with Dominican honey glaze, cashews & sprout salad ($9), forest mushroom and leek gnocchi tossed in brown butter ($12), seared scallops over creamy Israeli cous cous with grapefruit & cauliflowers ($14)
