The majority of visitors to the Mission Cafe and Sweet Shop just stop in for a quick fix of espresso drinks and perhaps pick up one of the unique handmade candies to go along with their beverage. However, Mission Cafe also offers a selection of New Mexican breakfast and lunch dishes, such as Blue Corn Atole or Breakfast Tacos, not to mention delicious local ice cream. Spend some time in this cafe-restaurant; it dates back to the 1850s and is one of the oldest adobe buildings in town. When the weather is warm, the large and leafy front patio is a must.
