Dominated by the ancient Minneriya Tank (reservoir), Minneriya National Park is home to one of the largest gatherings of Asian Elephants in the world.  There were about 70 wild elephants.  Very nice National Park and no other tourist. Beautiful nature and many birds also very nice turtles and monkeys.
