Mest is a concept store, a delicatessen in the middle of a shanty town up on the hills of Emirgan. It is primarily a gourmet charcuterie that allows take-aways, as well as in-house seating and dining; offers catering services, atelier workshops and a flower shop. The workshops include training and experience in Japanese, Chinese, French, Fusion and Urban kitchens and more. Mest also hosts business meetings, get-togethers and private parties. The philosophy on which Mest is based is the "mesterize" people; and "mest" means to be mesterized in Turkish. That is why the host tries to become an all-encompassing place: a place that will be like your own warm home. Be mesterized!
