McKeown's fish shop has been a fixture in the town for more than a hundred years. Set at the bottom of High Street - slightly incongruously now that it is surrounded on all sides by clubs and bars of the kind that definitely weren't around in the early 20th century - the shop is within easy reach of the pier and the fishing boats. Unsurprisingly then it offers an unrivaled selection of fresh fish and fish products, though high quality poultry is also available. The staff are experts in their fields, and you should have no problem finding the place: you'll smell it before you see it.
