A fun and convenient way of seeing the sights all over Hungary, Nostalgia Trains offer day trips as well as 3-day excursions on restored trains. Trips to the Danube Bend take place every Saturday during tourist season. They do special runs to most of the bigger festivals in other parts of the country, such as the Fish Soup Competition in Baja, or the Flower Carnival in Debrecen. Also available are Royal Hungarian Express luxury train trips (see entries). Pick up a brochure at Tourinform and other tourist offices, or Nyugati train station.
