About
Built during tumultuous 1930s, this church was nicknamed "Nazi-Church" for many years. During the war, it was badly damaged by Allied bombs and was in relative disrepair when the American forces took it over as part of their garrison. Since that time, many renovations have taken place to repair the damages. Presently, the church is part of an active congregation and hosts a range of events and musical concerts throughout the year. Despite its rough beginnings, it has become an important part of the community.
