If you get the chance to spend some time in Muscat you should really take the opportunity to relax on the top of the Marina hotel near the corniche. It probably has the best view of old Muscat in the city and you sit there and have a cold drink while taking in the views. The food is recommended and the waiters are top notch. It was one of my favorite places to go while in Muscat and the nighttime view is stunning.
