A little bit out of the way of the touristy areas, this bar and sandwich shop is a favorite amongst locals, especially parents taking their children to the Parque Maria Cristina or students at the nearby language school. The options are endless, from lomo (pork) with roasted peppers to all sorts of traditional Spanish tortillas (omelettes). You can also sit down for a variety of meals including paella, eggs, grilled meat and a special of the day. The bartender is extremely friendly and quickly remembers familiar faces, so you would do well to come back here more than once--he often stuffs the sandwiches of his regulars a bit fuller than usual. -Emily Monaco
