This well-known theater, which was formally a Baptist church, was built in 1959. Known for its support of performing arts in Florida, it also opens its doors for local Miami shows as well as providing space for other locals events. The shows vary from contemporary dance to musicals to opera and symphonic shows. It also has the privilege of hosting the Brazilian International Film Festival, the South Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, and other notable acts. Advance booking is a must.
