Manu Market, off to one side of the main street in new Manali town is a great example of a local style of market. With its narrow alleyways and large variety of small traditional shops it used to supply almost all of the needs of the local people - vegetables, food, woven goods, electrical supplies, cooking utensils, hairdressers and beauty salons, it is all there. Check out Shop 10 for its wide variety of hard-to- get food items and bakery goods, as well as the Tibetan jewelry shop.
