This modern building houses the offices of the Government of Maharashtra. Near this building is Yogakshema and the offices of Life Insurance Corporation. During Independence Day or Republic Day, the Mantralaya is lit in the tri-colors of the Indian flag. People travel great distances in the city to view the lights on these special occasions.
