The Mission Statement of the Society reads, in part; 'Since 1964 the Manning Valley Historical Society has been the primary organisation collecting, collating, preserving and conserving historical documents and artefacts pertaining to the settlement and development of the Manning Valley Region of New South Wales. Our aim is to ecourage and enhance the study of and understanding of the history of our district'.
