Malegitti Shivalaya. the primeval shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The beautiful stone temple was built during the 7th century and is influenced by the Pallavas style of architecture.  There are three temples at one the place. The first is "'Upper Shivalaya" known as Vaishnava temple, second is the Malegitti Shivalaya for Lord Shiva and Lower Shivalaya for Lord Ganapati
