Malancha Niwas is the bungalow where Rabindranath Tagore, the famous Bengali poet, had stayed on a visit to Agartala in 1919. Located adjacent to the Kunjaban Palace, the house was originally a 'kaccha' house which was later rebuilt with concrete.
