A place worth to visit here in Metro Manila is the Malabon Zoo located at McArthur Highway in Potrero, Malabon. How to get there Take the LRT 1 from any station going to the last station Grand Central Station in Caloocan City. Take the bus with Navotas sign and ask the driver to drop you in front of the zoo. Pay the Php 90.00 entrance fee. rought around ($3 depending on local convertion rates :P) At the entrance gate you can catch a glimpse of the huge fishes that can only found in Brazil. Other beautiful creatures can be found like reptiles, apes, different birds, fishes, cats, endemic species here in the Philippines, etc. Added attraction is the huge beautiful Bengal tigers. The star of the Malabon Zoo is the five month old orangutan named Pacquiao who steals the limelight from other animals. Pacquiao is the first orangutan born captive within the zoo. Visitors can take the opportunity to take the picture with him and just pay Php 30.00 intended for the orangutan personal needs.
