Maharaj Pier overlooks the beautiful Chao Praya River, that runs through the city of Bangkok. The pier is not only a great place for a leisurely stroll, but also a fantastic street-shopping destination. Myriad shops with loads of color and life, fill the Pier right up to the Grand Palace. Boats leave from the Pier, that gives tourists a ride across the river, and the historic Wat Mahatat can also be visited from here. Maharaj Pier is a lovely spot in central Bangkok!
