Maha Shivratri, Larger than the Buckingham Palace, the Forest Research Institute is India's leading and one of its kind institutes in the field of forest research. Established in 1906, the is one of the oldest institutes in India and was recognized as a deemed university in 1991. Located on a lush green campus spread over 450 hectares, the was constructed by the British and till date remains one of the grandest buildings built during colonial rule.
