Opened in September 2006, Cafayate can at last boast a gourmet restaurant that offers more than steak and more steak. The menu of this wine-themed establishment includes exotic dishes such as llama meat and duck. Platters of smoked cheese and cold meats compete for your attention with rabbit. The wine list is all local, with the very rustic Bodega Nanni for example, or the very alcoholic San Pedro de Yacochuya. All this, along with a pebbled courtyard and regional music, make it a very pleasant eating experience.
