Initially the Lucknow Metro Rail Project was planned to include two corridors: North-South and East-West; and the Gomti Nagar link. The construction cost was estimated at Rs 7,413 crore for North-South corridor, Rs 4,879 crore for East-West corridor and Rs 495 crore for Gomti Nagar link.
