Lower Sproat
About
This trail is located in Whistler. This popular ride is a great place for intermediate riders to take in some of Whistler's famous fat-tire landscape. It includes a stiff climb form the trailhead, but then becomes an intermediate-level, 3.04 km (1.82 miles) one-way with some great views south toward Nita and Alta Lakes and the snowcapped peaks beyond. The climbing is more moderate if you ride form north to south; this also allows expert riders to switch from Lower Sproat to the expert drop of Danimal for a little excitement before reaching the pavement. The trails in the Alta Lake area can be linked together in many ways to create extended rides or loops of varying ability. © Copyright Ward Cameron Published by Ward Cameron Enterprises.
