Family-run and set in its own lush grounds, Lovett's is an elegant restaurant located ten minutes from Cork airport and the city centre. Expertly prepared fresh seafood dishes are a speciality and vegetarians are well catered for too. Menu highlights include: panfried polenta with wild mushrooms and creme fraiche, sirloin steak with caramelised onions, served with a pepper sauce or garlic butter, and panfried venison with spiced oranges in an apricot brandy sauce. The wine list is extensive, and there's also an excellent selection of Spanish brandies. The recently opened brasserie lends the atmosphere an informal air, while the staff are friendly and efficient.
