The Faldo Championship course sits inland between the Castle Hume Lough and Lower Lough Erne, providing beautiful scenery and views that stretch to the Fermanagh Lakelands. The landscape is endlessly diverse. It seems to change from lowlands and dense forest to marshland and hills all throughout the golf course. The unpredictable Irish weather adds another surprising element to the round. Nick Faldo, the course's namesake designer, incorporated water hazards on 14 holes. The most notable of these holes is the iconic 10th hole, which features a green surrounded by water on three sides.
