Leighton Beach in the Perth Area is an exposed beach break that has pretty consitent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Offshore winds blow from the east southeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. It very rarely gets crowded here. Its a good hangout place .
