The Lebong Race Course is about 8 kms from Darjeeling. This race course is called as the smallest in the World with a complete lap measuring 480 yards. It is also the highest in the world at 1809 metres, . Races are made regularly under the management of the Gymkhana Club. The racing season is from May to June and from October to November.
