This small gem of a restaurant can be found on a rather seedy-looking impasse in the middle of the Beaubourg area. Fortunately, the seediness is left on the street– Le Hangar is an unfussy but appealing place with a menu that includes French and Italian influences. Choose from simple, delicious dishes such as filet de boeuf, fois gras pôlée over whipped potatoes, or fettuccini tossed with lemon and shrimp. For dessert, be sure to leave room for either the chocolate soufflé or the mi-cuit chocolate. Too full At the very least, try the nectarine soup with mint ice cream. It's fabulous.
