Lärjeåns Dalgång
Angereds Centrum
About
The Lärjeån valley is a 7.5km nature path that goes through deciduous forest and grazing land, from Lärjeholm to Angereds Centrum. The area is one of major scientific interest to botanists, zoologists and geologists. After the Ice Age, the valley was a sea fjord, and the mud from the fjord now makes up the ground. One negative side effect is that there is a risk of landslides. There was a landslide in 1730, west of Angereds Gård farm and the area has since then been called Jordfallen (The Earthfalls). The valley is a beautiful area, highly recommended to visitors. There is also a garden in the valley that you can visit. To get here, take trams 8 or 9 to Angereds Centrum.
