Laternenwandern

About

A night-time walk by lantern light through the hills and villages surrounding Innsbruck is an experience not to be missed. Led by guides from the Tourist Board, the hike leads up to Heiligwasser, a rustic guest house on the slopes of the Patscherkofel, the mountain which towers over Innsbruck. Here you can soak up the Alpine atmosphere and enjoy the view of the city lights twinkling serenely in the valley below, accompanied by traditional Tyrolean music and a bite to eat. The walk up the mountain is not too difficult and takes about an hour. Participation is free for holders of the Club Innsbruck Card. Reservations should be made in your hotel the day beforehand.
