This temple is the Shaktipeetha of Lalita Devi. It is believed that Bhagwati Lalita Devi appeared here, after the fingers of Sati had fallen on the bank of river Yamuna. The old temple has been renovated by Prabhudatta Brahmchari on 16th Nov. 1987. Today this 103 feet high temple with 41 feet high entrance gate has become the centre of devotion among the devotees. During Navratries nine forms of Devi are decorated differently which fetches a very large crowd of devotees.
